100 Days of Dallas

I have decided that I need to set goals, and actually make an attempt to achieve them to progress as a person.  So here I go: Over the course of 100 days, I'm going to keep 3 goals:  (1) Run at least 2 miles every day (except Sunday) or do equivalent exercise. (2) Balance my Calories everyday on my fitness pal. (3) Do a Duolingo lesson everyday.

(1) The running has been my strongest goal.  It has been good to have this goal to motivate me to get out there and exercise everyday.  I may be in the best shape of my life at this point.
(2) This goal was chosen because I have realized that I am not very aware of how much I eat.  I found myself over-eating at dinner time, or over-snacking throughout the day and ending up feeling a little sick. It has really helped me realize how much food I actually need. If I really want to eat something high calorie, I have to prepare and budget for it in the day.  (This has been especially true since I have started making pies on the weekends).  [ On my birthday I don't need to keep this goal, it is my only cheat day ]
(3) I have always wanted to learn a new language, so I'm just doing it. Spanish is a natural choice because Amy already speaks it so I have someone to ask questions and to practice my Spanish.  It it a real challenge for me to learn, but I enjoy trying.

So far so good, yesterday was the 50 day point, so I am officially halfway through my goal.  I'm determined to make it all the way to 100.  I think I can.... I will post on here if I make it.

Here is a picture of my girls today, our neighbors gave them a cupcake before bedtime and they are so happy.
