Family Council

 I've decided that we need to start doing family council on Sundays.  This is a family meeting where we sit down all together and talk about how family stuff is going, figure out how to be a more effective family.  We have only been doing it for a few weeks but I want to get into a good habit, so when the girls are older they are use to it.  This week we started with a song and prayer, then we discussed out Motto for the week.  This week it is "WE OBEY," and I have a feeling this may be the motto for a while as sometimes the girls struggle with obeying instruction we give them.  We then came up with a huge list of daily goals for everyone in the family.  Next we came up with a skeleton daily schedule to make our days more effective and talked about all the special things coming up this week.  Finally we made a list of fun things everybody wants to do this week and opened up the floor for any other questions, comments or concerns (there were none).  I wanted to get a picture of the council in action for this post, but all I have is a picture of the white board after we were done. Perhaps next Sunday I can get a better one.
